The Insider Threat Who Stole Christmas
The story takes place at the Best Festival Company, which is currently acquiring its competitor, AntarctiCrafts. While the merger promises exciting new technology, it also brings a major threat: the former owner, Tracy McGreedy, is reportedly planning to sabotage the process using malware and hired hackers.
We’ll be helping McSkidy, the Chief Information Security Officer, and Detective Frost’eau investigate the AntarctiCrafts factory at the South Pole. The facility is a security nightmare with outdated systems and poor coding practices, making it the perfect playground for McGreedy’s schemes.
Our goal is to help the team manage audits, secure the infrastructure, and uncover the traps laid by McGreedy to save the holidays!
Question 1: Are you ready to help Elf McSkidy tackle Advent of Cyber 2023? Come back on December 1st, 4pm GMT when the first daily challenge will be released!
